The highlight of the pilgrimage came during the closing night ceremony. One of
our Malades, Regina Jabbour, spoke passionately about how she and her fellow
Malades had received constant and abundant love throughout the pilgrimage.
She expressed deep gratitude for the inner healing and strength she received
to live her life with cancer with acceptance and peace, embodying the surrender
to God's will. Her profound thankfulness and joy made the pilgrimage one of the
most gratifying experiences I had ever lived. It gave more
meaning to my life.
